Batam’s Premier Running Event Returns with Bigger Energy and Global Spirit

Organized by the Batam City Government through the Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar). This prestigious annual event continues to attract elite and recreational runners from around the globe.
This year, international runners from Singapore, Malaysia, and Kenya. A country famous for producing the world’s top marathoners. Will join the race, creating a powerful mix of cultures and talents on the starting line.
“Batam’s unique geographic position makes it a magnet for runners across Southeast Asia. We see this event as the perfect chance to show the world that Batam is ready to become a global sport tourism hub,” said Ardiwinata, Head of Batam’s Culture and Tourism Department.
A Scenic Route, Full Amenities, and Prizes to Motivate Every Step
The 10-kilometer route will begin and end at Grand Mercure Batam Centre. Offering runners a breathtaking experience of Batam’s modern skyline and vibrant city streets. Along the route, organizers will provide four water stations and full support to ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable race for all participants.
Beyond the race itself, the event promises exciting prizes. From bicycles and motorcycles to TVs and cash rewards, with a total prize pool of Rp31 million.
