Lanal Ranai Provides Free Health Checkups for Students in Natuna

BATAMCLICK.COM: The Ranai Naval Base (Lanal Ranai) conducted free health checkups for high school students in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. This initiative was part of the Health Social Service under Operation Trisila 25.

Commander of Lanal Ranai, Colonel (P) Maman Nurachman, stated that the health checkups were carried out on Sunday (23/2) morning at the Lanal Ranai Command Headquarters. A total of 34 students from Bunguran Timur 1 and Bunguran Timur 2 Public High Schools participated in the event.

“This health checkup is part of Operation Trisila currently being conducted in Natuna,” said Colonel Maman.

The examinations included blood pressure checks, height and weight measurements, eye tests, ear-nose-throat (ENT) checkups, dental checkups, and other physical examinations. The aim was to detect potential health issues early and provide insights for students interested in joining the military or police force.

The event was attended by the Deputy Commander of the Trisila 25 Task Force (Wadan Satgas), Colonel (P) Yusuf Yanto, Chief of the Naval Combat Task Group (KS Guspurla) of Fleet Command I, Commander of KRI Bontang-907, and other officers from the Task Force and Lanal Ranai.

“In addition to maritime security operations, we also carry out social services like this health checkup. It serves as preparation for young people in Natuna who aspire to join the TNI or police,” added Colonel Maman.

With this initiative, students are expected to better understand the importance of health and be better prepared if they choose a career in the military or law enforcement.
